The only reason you might need to choose the Deluxe plan if you want to be able to host multiple web sites. All the hosting plans at GoDaddy come with easy installation of wordpress as well as all the other popular installations such as Joomla and Drupal.
One of the features of the GoDaddy hosting pricing is that while there is no long term contract requirement, the longer you commit for the cheaper it gets. Also something I noticed on the pricing is that although displayed in British pounds you are charged in US dollars so there might be a bit of fluctuation there.
