I launched www.awesomemovies.net at the end of 2008 on a hobby basis. I knew absolutely nothing about hosting. All I knew was that 2 things mattered choosing my hosting: Support and price.

I read a lot of reviews and stubble upon Heartinternet. They appeared on several UK top 10 hosting sites and their website seemed very professionel, without beeing too technical or commercial.

I narrowered my hosting options down to 2-3, but finally choose Heartinternet because it was easy to access and the ordering process was straight forward. No unnessary nerdiness. (wauw,...that a good term: Unnessary nerdiness)

I had worked hard preparing the website and when I had signed up for Heartinternet I was pretty much ready for uploading.

I had one problem though. Setting up my FTP server. I could have read the comprehensive manuals on their website, but I decided to contact their support to get the required information. So I did,...and 5 minutes later I got an answer with the nessasary info. They could have answered: Read the god damn manual. I am not one for reading manuals but I most admit that theirs are easy accessable and to understand.

You get an Acesss eXtend with all you needs for administrating your website. Mailadmin, analytics, Googlehelp, web resources and CGI scripts. I have only used a small part and I guess you can find most of it free on the internet, but it is very nice to have it one place.
I know there are many analytics programme out there,...and that they are free. But Awstats that comes with Heartinternet, is highly recommendable... and by the way took 30 sec to config

Conclusion.: 1½ month into my hosting with Heartinternet I can highly recommend them. I am no big customer of theirs, but when I needed help I got it fast. I would also like to point out that they have a 30-days money back guarantee, if you find out they are rubbish.

Whereas many hosting companies focus on commercial websites or cheap no service offers, Heartinternet has a wide rage of product for both businesses and small hobby websites.

I am no pundit,...But thumbs up for Heartinternet.
